Based on Jacks or Better, All Aces Poker is an interesting variation of video poker by Microgaming which offers higher payouts for getting Four of a Kind. It runs on the studio’s Quickfire platform and can be played in-browser or as part of Microgaming’s Casino Client for download. Bets are available from $/€0.25 to $/€25.00 per round.

Rules and Gameplay

All Aces Poker is played with a single deck of 52 cards and it follows the standard rules of video poker. Once they place their wagers, players are dealt 5 cards and they have the option to hold one or more of them by clicking on the selected card. After they choose the Draw button, all cards that have not been kept are replaced by a second deal and the game automatically determines whether the cards form a winning hand or not.

Players, who have won a round, are given the option to either Collect or Double their winnings. In fact, they can quadruple them in two consecutive rounds of the Gamble feature. In them, the regular screen is replaced by a row of five cards – one exposed and four face-down cards. To win the round and double their winnings, players need to pick one of the face-down cards and it must be higher than the upcard.

Paytable and Specific Features

Hand 1 coin 2 coins 3 coins 4 coins 5 coins
Royal Flush 250 500 750 1000 4000
Straight Flush 60 120 180 240 300
4 Aces 400 800 1200 1600 2000
4 of a Kind (2-4) 100 200 300 400 500
4 of a Kind (5-K) 50 100 150 200 250
Full House 7 14 21 28 35
Flush 5 10 15 20 25
Straight 4 8 12 16 20
3 of a Kind 3 6 9 12 15
2 Pair 1 2 3 4 5
Jacks or Better 1 2 3 4 5

As we can see from the paytable, the game pays a generous amount to those who get four Aces but it also offers bonus payouts for any Four of a Kind hand. In the standard Jacks or Better, this combination pays 25:1, whereas here, players receive 50:1 or 100:1, depending on the cards that form the hand.

It should be noted, however, that the payout for 2 Pair is lower than usual and it equals the one for having Jacks or Better. Also, instead of paying 9 and 6 times the bet for Full House and Flush, All Aces Poker offers payouts of only 7 and 5 times the stake for getting these hands.

Conclusion

Microgaming’s All Aces Poker is a simple and rewarding game, suitable for both experienced players and complete novices. Despite the lower payouts for certain hands, it has an exceptionally high RTP at 99.92%.
